we are SO back — I just got done leading a poetry-oriented Working Group at the IAYC (the International Astronomical Youth Camp)! it was a highly generative 3-week program, & I'm very grateful to and proud of my lovely participants for being so open and hard-working in their exploration, analyses, & writing of poetry :) also, we saw a total solar eclipse, which was without a doubt the most spiritual experience of my life!

today's prompt is one that I gave to my WG that I find particularily inspiring: write about the infinitesimal space between atoms, that means we never really touch anything.

try using an abstract metaphor that you've never used before — but find a way to relate it to something concrete or to the deeply personal.
